Back for its third year, NEC is ready to show you what Meetings are really about. Jam-packed with breakout sessions running the obstacle course of the domains set out by the Convention Industry Council, NEC provides both planners and suppliers with the tools required for a successful and fulfilling career! Also making a reappearance is our signature networking event “After Dark”, which is sponsored by both the crown jewel of Martha’s Vineyard-the Harbor View Hotel and our partner, Business Events Canada. Join an array of extraordinary chefs as they show you how serious the Cape is about their seafood!
With invitations sent to all of New England and beyond, this year promises to be an event to remember. This 1.5 day conference is packed with informational sessions for both our supplier and planner partners. Known for exhilarating speakers and everything from a refresher course to intense planning, you will wonder how you ever survived without this event!
Be sure to visit the Supplier/Planner Exhibition tab! This is the opportunity for our Planners, with real purchasing power, and Suppliers to get valuable face time with one another.
Pack your flip-flops and Nantucket Reds (don’t forget your thinking caps!) this April, and join MPI New England at the 3rd Annual Northeast Education Congress.
Need to earn credits for your CMP or re-certification? Not to worry, in our usual tradition of providing top-notch education, attending the 2014 NEC will give all attendees a jump-start in hitting their requirements!
Thank you to our generous sponsors!

Risk management preparation is critical for any event. Before you have to react to an emergency, prepare a plan for critical communication. Plan not only what to communicate, but how to communicate.
Risk management is an important part of planning for business. It is a process for identifying, assessing, and prioritizing risks of different kinds. Once the risks are identified, the Risk Manager can create a plan to minimize or eliminate the impact of negative events. There are many different type of risk that risk management plans can mitigate.
