The Annual Celebration was held in the newly renovated
Wharf Room at The Boston Harbor Hotel. The hotel provided
a beautiful display of food and drink set against a breathtaking
view of the Harbor. The reception style of the event proved
to be a seamless way for the members to network.
The
event boasted a solid turn out from the New England meetings
industry. The 2006/2007 board said goodbye to some of
its members and welcomed the new board for 2007/2008.
This special celebration awarded many inspiring leaders
in our industry for all of their hard work and dedication.
Chris Gasbarro entertained the crowd with a very heartfelt
farewell to his presidency. Chris accomplished a great
deal during his term, we thank him for his endless enthusiasm
and constant dedication he served as a great role model
and inspiration to our chapter. Chris then welcomed the
new 2007/2008 president
Patrick
Lynch who has been an active member of MPI/New England
for years and has recently become Executive Director of
Destination Worcester. We are looking forward to Patrick’s
leadership and another successful year for the New England
Chapter of MPI.
