am an events professional with more than 15 years
experience producing, managing and marketing events.
The events I have planned include large-scale
educational conferences and trade shows, black
tie galas, and charity events in industries ranging
from electronics to veterinary medicine.
During
the course of my career, I have been involved
with all aspects of event development and management.
My experience includes directing the overall marketing,
strategic planning and conference operations for
events.
I
have worked for both for-profit and not-for-profit
organizations. As the Director of Member Services
and Events for a professional trade association
based in Providence, RI, I was responsible for
the day to day operations of Member Services Department
and for supervising Events Manager and Member
Services Representatives, including hiring and
personnel management. In addition, I developed
annual budgets for services and events related
activities, and executed activities within financial
targets.
