Who Do You Think Should Shine in the Spotlight at the MPINE Annual Awards Banquet?

Each year hundreds of volunteers give freely of their time and talents to help keep our chapter running smoothly to accomplish our goals. This is your opportunity to recognize and thank those chapter members who go the extra mile, give the extra time and truly seek to make our chapter better for everyone.

The Awards & Recognition Committee will be accepting nominations for the 2007 - 2008 awards and scholarships until FRIDAY, April 11, 2008. We have extended the deadline by one week.

Awards will be presented at the Annual MPINE Awards Banquet June.

Meeting Professionals International and American Express Study Forecasts Solid 2008 for Meeting Industry

FutureWatch 2008, the definitive market trends study for the global meeting and event planning industry, has been released, and meeting professionals expect steady attendance and budgets in the coming year. The sixth-annual international study, sponsored by American Express (NYSE: AXP and conducted by MPI), surveyed 1,643 meeting and event professionals and suppliers from around the world - the largest response in the last three years to a FutureWatch study. The study was conducted from Oct. 22 - Nov. 7, 2007 and was open to all MPI members to participate. A copy of the study can be found at www.mpiweb.org.
