2012 MPI New England Northeast Education Congress - Invest in Yourself; Enhance Your Skills and Your Future Success!
Was one of your New Year’s Resolutions to invest in yourself? The 2012 Northeast Education Congress will be held on May 21 & 22 at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence. So make this year the best opportunity to make good on those 2012 educational resolutions.
MPI New England is committed to bringing you the best speakers (Clock Hour Certified), the latest topics, the most engaging keynotes, and the quality networking and tradeshow opportunities that our members have come to expect. The Institutes Committee has taken a Regional approach to marketing this Institute and will reach out to all North Atlantic MPI Chapters for attendees, session ideas, and speaker recommendations, which will broaden the attendee base and further enrich the “Institute” experience. Back by popular demand, we will also be featuring the highly successful “reverse tradeshow” which will pair Suppliers and Planners for timed, face to face appointments!
We expect that this year’s “Institute” will be our BEST yet!

On Thursday June 21, 2012, MPI New England invites you to come learn how and when our Chapter began. Discover where it all started and who was leading the way. Get a glimpse of the challenging path that guided what we have become today.
This journey through time will kick off with complimentary hors d 'oeuvres and a cash bar before settling into a three-course dinner and awards show. As one of the most influential MPI chapters in the country, there is much to be proud of and we will celebrate the induction of our new board and honor all our hardworking volunteers that make this Chapter run.
A special guest from the MPI International Board of Directors will be joining us as our keynote speaker, Mr. Jordan Clark. Mr. Clark is the Vice President of Sales for Caesars Entertainment and oversees 38 hotels nationwide.
This prestigious awards show will be hosted by the beautiful Hilton Boston Back Bay. This boutique style hotel sits in the heart of downtown Boston’s picturesque, historic Back Bay neighborhood surrounded by many of Boston’s leading shopping, attractions and historical sites.

International now offering incentives for March Membership Renewals and see how Omni and Starwood are getting in on the MPI incentive action! We will draw one lucky winner out of all the renewals received EACH WEEK in March for a free membership.
Every week, we will have a drawing out of those that have renewed during that week. One person will be selected each week, globally, to receive an automatic one-year extension of their membership dues.
Omni Rewards:
- Meeting planners can now be rewarded with $/€500 towards a meetings/travel industry organization when booking a meeting at any Omni Hotel.
- The $/€500 can be used for MPI, NBTA, ASAE, PCMA or RCMA conferences, annual dues or as a foundation donation for any of these organizations.
- Member can contact Membership Services to exchange vouchers.
Starwood Points:
- Starwood Hotels and Resorts offers MPI gift certificates through its Starpoints. Preferred planners are automatically enrolled as preferred guests and earn one Starpoint per every $/€3 spent on Starwood Property. Members can redeem points for a $/€100 MPI gift certificate, valid for conference registration, membership dues or book purchases.
